Turning 18 this year, I know I’m going to have the power to change the course of Philippine history; that is, the power to vote. But the question is: Do I have the power to change history in a good way? This question still hung today, unnoticed by many of us. Thus, it results in catastrophic effects.
Corrupt officials are always elected because people have the twisted idea that corruption will never be erased, seeing that it has transpired since time immemorial. But are we just going to sit back and do nothing while these viruses continue to eat the country’s operating system? Are we just going to format the system again and again, only to be placed by another corrupt system? Or are we going to find an anti-virus to put a stop on the continuing damage they have caused us?
Granted that viruses are ever present, getting stronger and stronger as time passes. But we also know that anti-viruses also updates time to time, we just need to have the motivation to push the update button.
